How To Drink Empirical: A Negroni, I Suppose

The subtle flavors of gentian work beautifully with the high notes of The Plum, I Suppose, making for a light and floral Negroni.

Recipe by Christ Stewart, Head of R&D.

Ingredients:

60ml The Plum, I Suppose
20ml Lillet Blanc
10ml Suze
5ml Bergamot infused Helena
2 drops Hopped Grapefruit Bitters
Ice
Orange peel and Lemon verbena leaf for garnish

Bergamot infused Helena and Hopped Grapefruit Bitters can also be replaced by:

5ml Curaçao
5ml Lime Juice

Method:

Combine all ingredients in a glass.
Add ice and stir.
Oil glass with an orange peel and lemon verbena.
Garnish with new lemon verbena leaf.

Enjoy.
