In the Tasting Room: Schofield's x Gedulgt
Joe Schofield of Schofield’s and Sensorium in Manchester along with Jens Kim and Mads Schack of Gedulgt in Aarhus are joining our team for an intimate cocktail experience at the Tasting Room in Cope
This special experience will include five drinks based on Empirical Spirits, each paired with a snack. Before the tasting, guests will also have the chance to get an inside look at how our spirits are made through a private tour of the distillery.

The experience will last approximately three hours.

Joe Schofield is the bartender and owner behind Schofield’s in Manchester. In 2018, he was awarded International Bartender of the Year at Tales of the Cocktail as well as Bartender’s Bartender at The World’s 50 Best Bars, making him the only person to win both accolades.
Gedulgt is an innovative cocktail bar in Aarhus that’s known for its boundary-pushing experimentation with feral edible plants, foraging, and fermentation. Jens Kim and Mads Schack are integral parts of Gedulgt’s bar team since opening and have earned acclaim for their contributions to their beverage program.

ES X ēe #1 is a collaboration with Alex Kratena & Monica Berg of Tayēr & Elementary in London. It's made using Lebanese cherry stems, coffee chaff, carob, corn husk kombucha, and Citra hops. The project’s aim is to gather and re-interpret inspiration from various regions, ingredients, and techniques they've encountered throughout research and development trips around the world.
